In the movies one can see the people playing billiards in a very casual mood occasionally drinking and smoking in between the shots and it will look as if they have come to enjoy the game and there is literally no pressure in playing the game. Though the casual part shown in the movies, are true what one do not is the professional touch that one has while playing a game of billiards at the billiard tables. For one who do not have the knowledge about the game of billiards and is watching a game it will look like the players are not taking their game very seriously and just playing it for the sake of it which is not true. The amount of concentration that one puts in playing a game of billiards and also the technique is more than even playing a game of chess or other games where the used of brain power is more. And the shots that you plan to play has to be very accurate so that you do not lose you chance of playing at the table leaving the game at the mercy of your opponent. And since not all the shots are marked directly on the balls, one need to plan the shots accordingly and through which the balls are hit indirectly from a different angle which is sure to pocket the ball and gain ou a point.
